What a small studio
is for.

01

Systems should be legible.

A tactics game is a conversation about a puzzle. If the puzzle has hidden rules, the conversation isn't honest. We show our math.

02

Decisions should stick.

The best stories are the ones you can't take back. Reloading a save should feel like breaking a promise — so we make promises worth keeping.

03

Small is a feature.

One person, one vision, one clear horizon. We ship what fits on our desk. We don't pad the runtime to justify a price.

04

Work in the open.

Silence in indie dev is the thing supporters fear most. So we write as we build. Devlog when there's signal, postmortem when it breaks.

05

Sci-fi is about now.

The best futures are the ones that reframe the present. We point the telescope sideways.

06

Ship on real hardware.

Steam Deck is not a checkbox. If the game doesn't read at 7 inches, thumbsticks only, it's not done.

07

The studio outlasts the game.

Eastbridge is a long bet. Each title pays for the next. We're here for the decade, not the launch week.

I've been building games on and off for a long time. Back in 2009 I shipped Knights vs Aliens to iPad under a small studio I ran called Prophetic Sky. It was a weird little real-time tower game and I've always had a soft spot for it — Eastbridge re-released it July 16, free on Steam, for no reason beyond nostalgia. After Prophetic Sky I left games entirely — spent years building software for farms — until the bug bit again.

Eastbridge itself is the serious work. Founded in 2026 to build the strategy and tactics games I actually want to be known for, in the time I can honestly give it. The lineup is three Animus titles: Convergence first — a 4X space strategy planned for late 2026 — then Frontier, a tactical mech deckbuilder, in 2027, and Horizons (tactics) after. The studio is named after a bridge I cross every morning on a run — a small footbridge, east-facing, that catches the sunrise before the rest of the neighborhood wakes up. That's the tone I'm chasing: tactical, quiet, dawn-forward.

If you want to know what I'm working on, the devlog is the honest record. If you want to say hi, my email is contact@eastbridge-games.com and I read every one.
